Angus Ashworth began his career as an antiques auctioneer and valuer over 20 years ago and set up his own auction house, Ryedale Auctioneers, in 2010. In recent years Angus has made regular television appearances, with audiences warming to his friendly persona and genuine passion for antiques.

Angus Ashworth is an experienced television presenter and for the past few years has been a regular expert on Antiques Road Trip
and Celebrity Antiques Road Trip.
Angus appears alongside his team at Ryedale Auctioneers on TV series The Yorkshire Auction House. The first series aired in early 2021 and was well received, becoming one of Really's most successful new programmes.
This series was followed later in the year by Celebrity Yorkshire Auction House, a spin-off of the original format featuring a number of famous faces.
Two new series of The Yorkshire Auction House are airing on Really in 2022, with catch up available on Discovery+
