About The Yorkshire Auctioneer
Angus Ashworth is an antiques expert and auctioneer with his own auction house, Ryedale Auctioneers, in Kirkbymoorside, North Yorkshire.
Angus and his team feature in the new documentary series The Yorkshire Auction House, one of Really's best-performing series of 2021. Angus is also a regular expert on the BBC's Antiques Road Trip.
Angus started his career in antiques as soon as he left school. After a few years learning the trade he joined the army, before returning to the industry and opening his own auction house in Kirkbymoorside. Ryedale Auctioneers has grown in strength and now hosts a variety of auctions throughout the year including specialist sales alongside regular antiques and collectors sales.
